All the technology you need is in this ball.  Wilson makes an incredible microfiber leather composite cover and composite aqua-grip channels that will provide great grip. The basketball cover material is very important to pay attention to when buying a new basketball.  For indoor use you should always get composite leather.  It offers the softest feel and doesn't require any break in time like leather does.  Buy a rubber ball if you plan on playing outside with it.  Try to stay away from the indoor/outdoor balls.  Once you use it outside it's not going to feel the same, it's better just to buy one indoor ball and one rubber ball for outdoor use.
